Tristwood - Dystopia et Disturbia (2010)

Normally, anything with the tag 'industrial' would send me running, but not in this case. This is some seriously crushing industrial death metal.

I just need to point out, in the song The Black Room at about 2:24 there is a Schwarzenegger-esque scream...and these guys are from Austria, yeah. (I'm easily amused)

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

  1. I actually just discovered this a day or two ago. It is indeed heavy and crushing. Like a T100.

  3. Just Seidr's For Winter Fire. Lot of people say it sucks, I say it is good. Have you tried:
Yellow Eyes - Silence Threads The Evening's Cloth?

  5. Ok, I've went through my Zen and found all the new albums I dig (keep in mind I'm only halfway through 32 GB fixing album art, genre, and year, cause I'm anal about stuff like that). Firstly, I can't recommend Grayceon - All We Destroy enough. Here are a few others:
    Krypts - Krypts
Lake of Blood - As Time and Tide Erodes Stone
    Light Bearer - Lapsus
Rudra - Brahmavidya: Immortal I (GET THIS NOW)
SubRosa - No Help For The Mighty Ones
Sylosis - Edge of the Earth (bit longwinded, but still good)
Not exactly new, but if you haven't got it, be sure to check out:
    Oranssi Pazuzu - Muukalainen Puhuu.
Hope that helps, I'll let you know if I run across any new gems!
