Lotus Fucker - Lotus Fucker (2009)
Lotus fucking Fucker are the tits man! These anime punks from D.C. play a blend of super fast-paced aggressive shit that makes King Kong look like a little bitch. Heaps of noise comes this feedback cesspool of musical prowess.

Bishop of Hexen - The Nightmarish Compositions (2006)
This album sounds like a carnival summoned from the fiery pits of Baphomets rectum, meaning it's oozing with deliciously evil atmospherics, ghoulish screams, and an overall ambiance of hellish magnitude. It sounds evil, not like a Impetuous Ritual type of evil, but like a well....nightmarish composition.

Woodland - Dreamality (2009)
Here is a folk metal album by Woodland that took me a little while to get into and I really can't figure out why that is, since it rips pretty fucking hard. Not "rips" in the sense of furious tremolo picking and blasting drums, but in the sense of musicianship. It doesn't share that "heard this before..." type of structure that you might expect from a band in this genre.
If you were to look on my Last.FM profile you would notice that I listen to every album while I do a write up for it, to keep things fresh in my head...and well genuine perhaps. But my fucking point is, I have spent half the time writing this drumming on my goddamn desk. I enjoy it, you may not, which in that case. EATABAGOFDICKS.
FIXED: The password for the link is "trueblackmetal" (one of the only download links left for this album, let me know if there are any problems.)

Coke Bust - Fuck Bar Culture EP (2007)
Straight edge hardcore that straight rips through six songs in under 4 minutes. It's good though, plus you can listen to it fifteen times in an hour...which I have done. That illustration is also gnarly, I think I would be the guy on the right, with the what appears to be an Acid Bath shirt on.
Benighted - Asylum Cave (2011)
Not exactly a feast for the brain, but Benighted remains to be among the elites in forward-thinking deathgrind. The intro initially had me second guessing if I was listening to the wrong album...I wasn't. I have only listened through this once though, so I am unable to give it my full praise, but from what I heard it was quite good. Everything you would expect from Benighted, and then some. I do recall raising an eyebrow or two though. More breakdowns then a...well, mental asylum. ZING!
"Why are you so brutal to me?"

Ordo Draconis - Camera Obscura Part 1 & 2 (2005)
Describing the sound of these two albums is some what of a futile task, its very odd and quirky, but at the same time eerie and very avant-garde. This is Post-Black Metal from the Netherlands that has had me listening since these two albums came out in '05. Imagine for a second that you are making a delicious pot of black metal soup; The cauldron for black metal soup is an active volcano of course, in this active volcano we toss in ingredients of Emperor, a dash of Arcturus, a healthy pinch of Le Grand Guignol and of course blazing tremolo picking and odd synth strings. How's that for an absolutely retarded example?
At one moment you are listening to blistering black metal, in the next moment you are listening to what appears to be a sample from Goldeneye 64. I dunno, its rad though. It's a shame these guys totally fly under the radar for most. So Enjoy this odd rare beast, or forever be a whore.

Munly & The Lupercalians - Petr & The Wulf (2010)
A concept album based on the story of "Petr & The Wolf" that teeters on sounding like a post-apocalyptic renaissance faire after dissolving 3 sheets of acid in a glass of bourbon. No, but really, these guys are like the Portal of Folk. This is not really my niche but I do know it works on a verse-chorus-verse structure. With that being said, each song continually develops into something diverse and memorable.
Eerie shit, I know. The atmosphere is woven with it's share of eccentrics but I'll be damned if a looming sense of disparity and eeriness isn't present. This may take a couple of spins for it to fully set in. It's good.

Trap Them - Darker Handcraft (2011)
3rd album from Trap Them is fucking tits man, merging elements of hardcore, black metal, death metal and grind into a murky quagmire of musical deliciousness. It's music, listen to it for yourself instead of reading about it. Until next post, then you better fucking read again.

Mumakil - Behold the Failure (2009)
Enter Mumakil from Switzerland, a grind band named after those burly elephants in LOTR that stomp fuckers into a bloody mist, leaving nothing but a trail of bones and human pancakes in their wake. Behold The Failure does the exact same thing...but to your ear holes. 27 songs playing for a total of 35 minutes at a blistering speed with crunchy tones. It's about as heavy as an "oliphaunt" and as fast as Legolas.

Ceremony - Still Nothing Moves You (2008)
I guess you can say I have been into a lot of raw heavy punk as of late, already posting Revenge and Funerot recently, It's only fitting that I add Ceremony to that list. The juggernaut of hardcore comes Ceremony with fast and furious jams that are nothing short of enraged.
I am the upside down cross
